About Me
 

Ashley Birger, PA-C. I enjoy working with patients of all ages at Aspen Family Care.   I received my Master of Physician Assistant Studies - Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program with a special focus on the evaluation and treatment of illness in children. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where I ran competitively for the track and cross-country teams.

I have a passion for sports medicine, given my 15+ years of competitive running and experience with many running-related injuries. I enjoy discussing diet and exercise programs for weight loss, cholesterol, and blood pressure management. My passions extend to pediatrics, adolescents, and women’s health care, as well as treating depression and anxiety.

As a native to Colorado, I enjoy running with my husband, who is my training partner and coach and racing for the Denver Metro Racing Team. I also enjoy skiing, biking, camping, playing the cello, and reading when I'm not playing with my son who keeps us very busy.
